Exodus 1:8–9: "Now there arose a new king over Egypt who did not know Joseph. And he said to his people, ‘Look, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we are.’”
In Luke 16:8, Jesus says, “For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.” What an incredible statement.
In the first verse, the enemies of God's people knew something about them that they had forgotten about themselves. How about you? Do you know that in Christ, you are more and mightier than any power that will ever come against you? Do you know that no captivity of darkness can hold you any longer? You must rediscover who you are in Christ.
