When Emma's abusive new stepfather finds out she's pregnant and that her brother Jackson is gay, he ships them off to Abraham House where religious zealot Mary Esther promises to bring these sinners home to Jesus...one way or another.
CHILDREN OF SIN may be microbudget.
CHILDREN OF SIN may be rough around the edges.
Yet CHILDREN OF SIN delivers everything THEY/THEM promised to and failed:
Scares, gore, tension, queer characters that feel real and a gleefully charismatic villain you'll love to hate.
But more importantly, CHILDREN OF SIN has the audacity and courage to point the finger of blame at those responsible for the real-life horrors on which this film was based.
