How You Can Get A Turkish Passport

Episode 263 Published 2 years, 10 months ago
Description
Today, I bring to you a personal report of a portion of my month-long trip that I just returned from. As we focus on my time in Turkey, I will include an update on the citizenship by investment I am working on from there. While it was an incredible trip, it wasn’t all roses, as we had some challenges to face along the way.  I don’t hold back - you’ll get the good, the bad and the ugly of my experience in Turkey, one of my favourite countries. Enjoy!

TODAY’S EPISODE ABOUT MY TURKEY TRIP

  • Find out what it was like travelling with my entire family - my wife, the kids, my mom, and even the nanny - through four different countries.
  • Learn about some of the difficulties I encountered while pursuing my citizenship by investment program for Turkey.
  • Hear about all the incredible (and not-so-incredible) properties that I saw and the endless hurdles we faced along the way while shopping for real estate.
  • Find out how we ran into a major complication with our CBI due to our marriage taking place outside of both of our native countries.
  • Listen in to hear about our run-in with a pickpocketer that snatched my mother’s purse - a stark reminder to never let your guard down while travelling.
  • Learn all about my experience at the awe-inspiring Galata Towers - this is one place you absolutely cannot miss when in Istanbul.
  • Come to understand why - despite some of its issues - Istanbul remains one of my favourite cities in the world.

CONCLUSION

Well, that’s it for my trip to Turkey. While I went into this episode with the plan to discuss my entire trip, the conversation about Turkey and the efforts I am making to achieve my citizenship by investment was plenty enough to fill its own episode.  In a perfect world, I’d only have positive things to report about the process, but one of the reasons I do these programs is to find the roadblocks so that my clients don’t have to. And rest assured, when it’s all said and done, I will be the owner of a Turkish passport. If you enjoyed this behind-the-scenes glimpse into my experience in Turkey, leave a comment and let me know. I may very well follow this up with reports on my experiences in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, so stay tuned!
