In this episode I have a conversation with my new friend, Yvonne Mitchell. Yvonne is a cancer survivor. As a result of her experience, she started a ministry called, "Prayer Pillows". She and her staff make pillows and distribute them to various outlets at no charge. Most of the pillows go to local cancer centers for use by patients undergoing treatment. Some of their pillows have shown up in far away places like the Ukraine border to comfort children in that war torn area.
I can tell you from my personal experience that the encouragement of folks like Yvonne helped me tremendously as I was in treatment. I see it now in the face of others as they enjoy the love and dedication put into making these available.
