Why Are There So Many Dialysis Centers In Black Neighborhoods?

Episode 83

The prevalence of dialysis centers in Black neighborhoods is a reality that cannot be dismissed as just a coincidence. This raises serious concerns about equitable access to healthcare and the impact of systemic racism in the kidney disease care and transplant process. In this episode I discuss those disparities and some of their causes.
