Welcome to episode 15 of Next of Kin Parents Podcast! I'm Emma, a British Expat, and Mum of 1, living in Dubai, UAE, and this podcast follows along my own journey raising my daughter and starting my first business.
I am so pleased to be joined on this episode by Farah, Founder of Girls Who Walk Dubai, and first-time Mum to 1 year-old Layla. I find Farah's journey really inspiring, and I myself have felt the magic of joining the Girls Who Walk net-walks. In fact, as mentioned in the episode, I was encouraged to start Next of Kin on one of these free walks!
I was keen to know how Farah had created and grown the group, and during these discussions Farah shared so many tips from confidence, following your dream, staying connected to your partner, and so much more!
We have a lot of similarities, including our current parenting phase, so personally, it was great to chat with someone on a similar journey to me, experiencing shared struggles and emotions.
