The Emirate of Sharjah submitted a list of locations to be considered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, which have been added to a preliminary list.
The addition of these areas is quite monumental news not only for the UAE but also for the entire region, as it adds to the rich heritage that extends all the way from the Stone Age.
