The bodies reportedly had elongated heads and three fingers on each hand and were said to have been discovered near Peru’s Nazca Lines in 2017. Maussan argued that testing indicated they were roughly 1,000 years old. However, scientists strongly disputed the claims, with experts questioning the specimens’ origins and pointing to previous controversies surrounding alleged “alien” remains. The presentation sparked worldwide debate over whether the bodies represented evidence of extraterrestrial life or an elaborate hoax.
