Few people know more about the generational impact of drug use more than Andrew Hager. Andrew had the deck stacked against him before he was born: his mother was a 15-year-old addict, and his father died while driving drunk before Andrew was born. He used drugs throughout his life and was in and out of prison. Two of his four children also served time, and his daughter died from a drug overdose at age 27. But after success with a 12-step program, faith in God, and a purpose to help those with their own addictions, Andrew has been sober for more than eight years.
