Despite everyone from Oprah, your Gramma, and your daughter’s kindergarten teacher claiming how we need to love ourselves more, it is very apparent in my practice that we as a society have a lot of work to do around this topic.  

Many still beat themselves up because they feel terrible for doing the wrong thing. The bottom line is that nothing will change unless you practice forgiveness for yourself and others. You will be caught up in anger and resentment for a long time. The key to a joyful and fulfilling life is to love yourself more, laugh at yourself more, and practice the skill of gratitude daily.
