He played over 1,000 National Hockey League games, then after his playing days, Dave Lewis stayed with the Detroit Red Wings organization as an assistant coach. Three Stanley Cups later, Lewis succeeded the legendary Scotty Bowman as the team's head coach. But that's only part of his story. And he also has plenty of stories to tell.
