In financial services this includes the development of digital currencies that would allow peer-to-peer transactions and cross-border payments, reducing both costs and transaction times. Members of the Foundation include governments and enterprises around the world such as JP Morgan, IBM, the Bank of England, the Digital Euro Association, and the European Blockchain Association.
