Meet Lynn, whose memories of hating herself begin at age 8. Sexually abused as a child by a string of her mother's partners, Lynn struggles with crippling depression and suicidal thoughts. Compounding her misery - her mother knew about the abuse and did nothing except eventually blame her for it. And the manipulation and cruelty continue to this day. Lynn can only refer to her mother as "BG" - her birth giver. Through her tears, Sven guides Lynn to confront her true feelings, and helps her begin to release her pain and embrace life.
