The early season is my favorite time to hunt whitetails. Their habits are much more predictable, the hunting pressure is much lower, the weather is beautiful, and there are more deer in more places. But as great as this point in the season may be, it still must be hunted correctly in order to avoid blowing up future opportunities later in the season.
