In this week's episode, I’m talking to Superyacht Chief Stewardess, Bianca Currington.

Bianca is the Chief Stewardess on a Superyacht in Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia. She is both single and childfree.

Topics that Bianca  & I cover are:

  • what it’s like working on a superyacht!
  • how Bianca felt as though she lost her identity during her relationship with her emotionally abusive ex-husband;
  • how the relationship took its toll on her physical, emotional and mental health;
  • how it was only once she came out of the relationship that she realised the damage that had been done;
  • finding her joy again, including through spending time in nature;
  • how Bianca felt called to walk the famous pilgrimage of El Camino de Santiago;
  • her experience of walking El Camino;
  • how she loves being alone and travelling solo;
  • how Bianca feels about being single following the breakdown of her marriage;
  • how she suffered a miscarriage during her marriage, but believes the pregnancy wasn’t meant to be;
  • how she doesn’t think that having children was ever really on the cards for her.
