432: Duramax IFS 4Runner

Published 2 years, 6 months ago
Description

A listener wrote in right at the perfect time asking about how he should build up his 2nd Gen Toyota 4Runner. Seeing how Tyler just finished his and all the MF’ers are building theirs we figured this would be a fun conversation to have. The listener asked us for advice about four different builds. Which one would you choose?

  • Option 1: Stock axles, dual cases, and 35″ tires
  • Option 2: Mini truck SAS, with an 8.8 rear, dual cases, and 37″ tires
  • Option 3: 60/14 bolt axles, leaf-sprung, dual cases, and 40/42″ tires
  • Option 4: AAM 9.25 Duramax IFS front end, custom UCA and LCA, 14 bolt rear, duals cases, and 40/42″ tires
