It was the best news that we could possibly have hoped for when Alex James from Lancs Live broke the story that James Tarkowski was staying at Burnley.
The Foxes were not prepared to meet Burnley's valuation of the central defender, which meant they turned their attention to Wesley Fofana at St Etienne who is set to be unveiled at the King Power over the next day or so.
In Tarky's absence the Clarets haven't had the best start to the Premier League campaign with two defeats in two games, and with Newcastle and West Brom coming up before games against Chelsea and Tottenham, points on the board are swiftly needed.
