Challenging Einstein with ChatGPT - Steven Bryant, Computer Scientist DSPod 185

Season 1 Episode 185 Published 2 years, 7 months ago
Description

Steve Bryant is an author, researcher and futurist who studies the innovative application of emerging technologies, who has long been curious about the gaps and inconsistencies of general relativity. Armed with Chat GPT with a Wolfram Alpha plugin, Bryant combed through Einstein’s papers, where he discovered key mathematical inconsistencies that invalidate the mathematical basis of Einstein’s most famous theorem. We discuss the simple mathematical proof for what Bryant has discovered, the difficulty of unseating beloved ideas, and what comes after relativity.

PODCAST INFO: Anastasia completed her PhD studying bioelectricity at Columbia University. When not talking to brilliant people or making movies, she spends her time painting, reading, and guiding backcountry excursions. Shilo also did his PhD at Columbia studying the elastic properties of molecular water. When he's not in the film studio, he's exploring sound in music. They are both freelance professors at various universities.
