Disney’s live-action Snow White became one of the studio’s most controversial remakes long before it reached theaters. Starring Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, the film faced years of debate surrounding its casting, changes to the original 1937 story, the portrayal of the Seven Dwarfs, and comments made by its stars.

Scooter Braun. In 2023, artists including Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin and Idina Menzel were reported to have ended their management relationships with Braun, sparking widespread speculation about what was happening behind the scenes at SB Projects. We break down the confirmed departures, the conflicting reports surrounding other artists, and Braun’s shift away from day-to-day artist management toward his executive role at HYBE America.

The Canada Revenue Agency launched an internal review to investigate employees suspected of receiving CERB when they were not eligible. The review ultimately resulted in hundreds of employees leaving the CRA, while others faced disciplinary measures such as suspensions. Some employees investigated were cleared after being found eligible for the benefit. Hundreds of federal employees faced consequences after internal investigations found that some government workers had improperly applied for and received the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) while employed by the federal government.
