The plaintiff is suing his soon-to-be ex-wife because he claims she damaged his car. He’s suing for property damage. The defendant says her ex is lying about the damages. 

Then, the plaintiff says he bought dumbbells from the defendant, but he claims they weren’t functional after few days. He’s suing for a refund. The defendant says the plaintiff tried them out in person and said they worked. She claims the plaintiff threatened her to get his money back.
