Thousands of people, who spent days stranded at the Burning Man festival after a downpour turned the ground into thick mud, are finally leaving from Black Rock Desert. Meanwhile, the unofficial end of summer was as hot as mid-July for about half the country, and for some places, the heat is impacting the start of the school year.
