Description
This episode covers three different topics, all of which led to the first C-130A task:
1. Improvements made at RAAF Richmond (the home base for 36 Squadron's C-130As).
2. The acceptance and ferrying of the new C-130As from the US to Australia, and
3. The strategic situation that resulted in the first C-130A task: a flight to RAAF Butterworth, Malaya.
