א) הוראה מכמ"ש בתחילת פ' כי תבוא "והי' כי תבוא אל הארץ וגו'": יהודי צריך לעשות מכל מקום בו הוא נמצא - "ארץ ישראל" (ששם גילוי אלקות) וכו'. ב) הוראה ממ"ש בשלישי דפ' כי תבוא "את ה' האמרת היום.. וה' האמירך.." שזה "לשון הפרשה והבדלה" "הבדלתיו לך מאלקי הנכר להיות לך לאלקים והוא הפרישך אליו מעמי הארץ להיות לו לעם סגולה", וגם "לשון תפארת", שהקב"ה מתפאר בבנ"י ובנ"י מתפארים בהקב"ה (וכ"ז צ"ל באופן של "טוב לשמים וטוב לבריות" (ענינו של יום שלישי בשבוע), שפועל כך גם על הזולת). וזה קשור גם עם ר"ה, שעליו קאי תיבת "היום" שבפסוק (לקו"ת), שאז מקבלים מלכותו ית', וההכנה לזה הוא בחודש אלול, שאז נותן ה' כוחות מיוחדים לעבודה זו, ויש לנצלם!

(1) A lesson from the beginning of Parashas Ki Savo, “And it will be, when you come into the land etc.”: A Jew must turn wherever he is into Eretz Yisroel, a place where G-dliness is visible etc. (2) A lesson from the pasuk in shelishi of Parashas Ki Savo, “You have selected Hashem this day…And Hashem has selected you…:” Hashem takes pride in the Jewish people and the Jewish people take pride in Hashem (and all this must be done in a way that is “good for Heaven and good for people” (the idea of Tuesday), meaning, one must influence himself and also influence others). And this is also connected to Rosh Hashanah, as the verse says, “this day” (as explained in Likkutei Torah), when we accept Hashem’s sovereignty, and we prepare for this in the month of Elul, when Hashem gives special abilities for this service, and we should utilize them!
