The REAL barrier is your own mindset around change ...specifically self-limiting beliefs around your ability to change, a programme that will bring about that change (ie weight loss and all the mental and physical health benefits that brings).
Once you realise this you can begin to act in spite of those beliefs and get cracking on losing those unwanted pounds and feel confident and competent at the HOW to manage your weight in the long term.
Rather than thinking you're going to 'fail again', just to weight loss the right way and you'll never need to diet again...and by investing in your present and future self you will reap the rewards in terms of health and well-being because you will have the knowledge and strategies to implement that knowledge.
