Published 2 years, 8 months ago
Description

Born and raised in Ireland, Stephen Keenan found a love for free diving back in 2009, and he soon became one of the most renowned safety divers in the free diving community. In 2017 he decided to assist his romantic partner, Alessia Zecchini, on her mission to free dive The Arch, an 85 ft long tunnel located in the Red Sea’s Blue Hole near Dahab, Egypt. The tragic events that took place during this mission would shock the free diving community, and was recently featured in the Netflix documentary “The Deepest Breath”.
