Most of my friends know I’m an old touring rock and roll musician, and I never liked country music very much. But there’s a musician/composer in Farmville VA that might turn me around a bit. Oliver Anthony might be the next Pete Seeger of his generation. He wrote a song called “Rich Men North of Richmond.” It’s about the deep state the people in Washington, the men who live lives of ease while imposing all kinds of rules on the working man. With working people across America people who don’t like the persecution of President Trump, or the crimes of the Biden Crime Family. If Oliver Anthony can keep it together, he can become a musician for the ages. And maybe if enough people get fed up with what’s going on in America - just as his songs tell us that we should be, I think we could turn this country around!
