This episode was recorded in the field, in a stone hunting lodge built during the Victorian era, and we tell the story of our good fortune and successful hunt for a big, old royal stag.
Head gamekeeper Sam Thompson and Spartan Precision's Rob Gearing sit down with host Joseph von Benedikt and share insights on how to plan and book such a hunt, detail the surprisingly affordable costs, discuss appropriate gear and travel, and most of all, dig deep into hunting methods and stories.
