Today I chat with Rox Solway who is currently a stay at home mum of two toddlers.
As a stay at home mum of two young children, Rox found conscious and connected parenting was at the forefront of her mind each and every day.
Rox describes how she had to spend a long time healing her own childhood wounds and understanding her own childhood trauma in order to break generational cycles. In doing so her home has gone from chaos and reactive to now calm and connected.
Rox's goal is to give her children the parent that she needed when she was growing up and break generational cycles. She has discovered that connection is the key to a healthy long term relationship with her children and the way to connection is being conscious in how she shows up as a parent each and every day.
In this episode we discuss:
1. What does being a conscious parent mean?
2. What are examples of conscious parenting?
3. How do you practise conscious parenting?
4. What is the goal of conscious parenting?
5. What are the benefits of conscious parenting?
6. How did you get your partner on board?
7. Connection before Correction parenting
