Obviously, the GOP Presidential debate in Milwaukee dominated the news Wednesday evening. "Everybody" interested in U.S. politics looked in to see what the eight GOP candidates on stage were going to say. However, another media event that apparently eclipsed the debate happened at the same time. Former President Trump appeared in an interview with former FOX News host Tucker Carlson, who FOX fired. More than 100 million people have looked at that interview as of this writing! The debate did not surprise many people. Of course, the 900-pound gorilla in this election was missing: Donald Trump! Elsewhere, the jet that carried the head of the Wagner Group crashed yesterday, killing the head of that insurrection group. Tentatively, it was revealed that a bomb placed on board the jet caused the crash.
