Harry Brook to miss the World Cup? Reacting to England's provisional 15-player World Cup squad

Published 2 years, 7 months ago
Description

England’s provisional 50-over World Cup squad has been announced and while Ben Stokes’ return has been confirmed, there’s no room for Harry Brook.

Katya Witney, Phil Walker, Jo Harman and Yas Rana react to the news that Brook has missed out on the 15-player ODI squad to take on New Zealand, as well as breaking down all the other selection decisions ahead of the World Cup later this year.

Since recording on Tuesday morning, Brook smashed a stunning 105* (42) in The Hundred last night.

There’s also chat about Gus Atkinson’s inclusion and the No.6 spot, England women’s squads to take on Sri Lanka, problems facing Cricket South Africa and much more, while Mark Butcher joins the show to have his say on the World Cup squad.
