Every father’s worst nightmare became a reality for Maria Gonzalez’s dad when he came home and found her body under a mattress, stuffed in a trash bag on August 12. Authorities identified Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez and charged the 18-year-old with capital murder after he allegedly confessed to sexually assaulting and killing the young girl.
