Burke Idaho according to Wikipedia is a ghost town in Shoshone County, Idaho, United States, established in 1887. Once a thriving silver, lead and zinc mining community, the town saw significant decline in the mid-twentieth century after the closure of several mines. It’s in Shoshone County that went from 1400 people in the early 1900’s to around 15 people in the 1990’s.
