Daniel Klein is professor of economics and JIN Chair at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, where he leads a program on Adam Smith. He is the author of Smithian Morals and Central Notions of Smithian Liberalism. I admired his widely-read 2023 essay "Misinformation Is a Word We Use to Shut You Up," which has been posted by Brownstone Institute, Independent Institute, Zero Hedge, and other websites.
