Beef processors continue to keep the market tight with another light production week, 603K head harvested last week down from the previous weeks already low 613K.  This continues to keep product tight and pricing steady to moving higher.  Ribeyes, chucks and rounds are all moving higher. Loins and ground beef trading sideways but I do think they will see appreciation over the next couple weeks.  Once we get passed the Labor Day holiday if we get more cattle on the market we could see a couple weeks buying opportunity before the positioning for the holiday.  I think this is a buy what you need to get passed Labor Day, depending on the cut, you might find a deal out there.
