"People are going to laugh at me in the gym"
"I don't know what I am doing"
"This is hard"
"I don't feel supported from my friends/family"

Thse are are very common things we will tell ourselves in order to stop ourselves from moving forward and progressing towards our goals. When things get hard we get emotional.

After you say something like this, then ask yourself,  "and...?" or "So what...?" this will help you snap out of it and realize it is you and your thoughts that are holding you back.
