Out of the Forest of Certainty and into Divine Doubt with Joseph Fasano

Season 1 Episode 11 Published 2 years, 11 months ago
Description

In this show, my dedicated throng of 9 to 15 people at any given moment, Joseph is eloquent and charming while I stumble along like the left-overs of a failed alchemical experiment. We touch on poetry as an act of faith and the shadow side of that being doubt. Is it possible to have one without the other? How does poetry transverse that? A poem wants to be whole, not perfect. That is something I think we all relate to as wobbly meat stuffed with meaning. As a first on this show's run, I think we actually stay pretty well on topic! We must believe against odds, that the ghosts we summon in writing will attend. I mean, the sun's gonna explode someday, so, let's get on in it!
