Our Top 5 most relaxing Disney Resorts!

Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, that’s Brenda, and he’s Grogu, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is episode 180 and today our feature topic is Our Top 5 most relaxing Disney Resorts! Grab your favorite beverage, sit back, and relax, and tell us in the comments below what you think! Here’s the rundown of what we talked about:

  • Cheddar from the Big Cheese
    • Brenda: Over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, there are two locations that will be opening their doors once again to feed hungry patrons with mouthwatering delights. On July 27, Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern reopened with refreshing new looks and delicious bites you are definitely going to want to try.
    • Sophie: The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is this Friday the 11th! We’ll be there on September 1st, but in the meantime, here are some highlights of things that you can enjoy at the party this year:
      • Adventureland will be taken over by a spirited pirate band and their crew. Be sure to listen for their sea shanties while their shipmates roam the land sharing tales of their explorations at sea.
      • Get ready for even more chances to “Stand Out” with Max Goof and his Powerline party pack at new pop-up parties throughout Magic Kingdom before this popular crew dances onto Main Street U.S.A. ahead of Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.
      • The Seven Dwarfs will be returning to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Even if you are a little bashful, stop by and say hello! They’ll be happy to see you.
      • Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade will be more villainous than ever, with favorite foes Ursula, Cruella de Vil, the Queen of Hearts and the newly announced Sanderson Sisters Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabell joining the frightful finale.
    • Mike: Lastly, in some sad Disney news, I heard while we were at Disney that Jim Korkis has passed away at the age of 72. Jim was a Disney expert who had written several books on Disney history. I never had the opportunity to meet him, but read many of his articles online and heard many interviews with him. He will be missed and our prayers go out to his family in their time of grief.
