With an all-star cast, led by Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson and Tom Hanks, the film follows a writer and his world famous fictional play about a grieving father who travels with his tech-obsessed family to small rural Asteroid City to compete in a junior stargazing event, only to have his worldview disrupted forever. Tim and Andrew bask in Anderson's trademark whimsical narrative and pastel aesthetic, while sharing their relationship with Anderson as a filmmaker, his unique visual style, the balance of character and tone, and a surprising link to Barbenheimer.
