World Population with Stephen Barrows on Gracearchy with Jim Babka

Season 1 Episode 5

The global population has alternatively concerned and intrigued us for centuries. In this episode, we get to listen in on a detailed discussion of that issue with Jim Babka and Stephen Barrows, PhD, and learn how vital an understanding of the world population is to the sustainability of our planet's most precious resource: human life.

Stephen Barrows is the chief operating officer at the Acton Institute. He's the former Provost and Dean of Faculty at Aquinas College, where he was also a tenured associate professor of economics. Dr. Barrows is a graduate of the Air Force Academy with 21 years' service in the Air Force, retiring in 2013 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in economics from Pennsylvania State University and a doctorate in economics from Auburn University.
