Just when I thought I’d seen it all, the Internet did it again. Apparently there’s a new trend called “RCTA,” or race change to another, sweeping social media that consists of young girls who believe they can literally change their eye shape or skin tone to that of another race by playing subliminal messaging in videos while they sleep along with other equally strange practices. Are these people actually serious, and why do young girls in our culture have a seemingly ever-escalating identity crisis? Let’s get into it.
