Honor is the gravity of the kingdom. Without honor, it all falls apart. All of Christianity starts with honor. God wants your heart, not your money. But because our hearts are wrapped around our money, God speaks to it. 

Giving without honor = penance, obligation, reluctance. Honor that expresses itself in giving = worship
