Episode Details

The plaintiff says he rented a home to the defendants, but claims they neglected the house and didn’t pay their rent, so he’s suing. The defendants claim the house was already in disrepair when they moved in. They say the plaintiff was so rude that they had to call the police.   

Then, the plaintiff says she was hired to change the main mast rigging on the defendant’s sailboat. She claims he never paid her, so she’s suing for the money she’s owed. The defendant claims he was restoring the boat for charity and says the plaintiff volunteered her time and would only charge for parts. 

Plus, the plaintiff says she bought a used car from the defendant’s business. She claims it failed an inspection and never should have been sold in that shape, so she’s suing for the cost of repairs. The defendant insists he’s a reputable dealer and claims the car passed inspection before he sold it.
