Joey Ruiz is the owner and founder of Way Back When Antiques & Collectibles. One day getting tried of the corporate life, Joey went to a garage sale and bought some collectibles items there. The popular app, Offer Up, had started gaining popularity at the time and he was able to sell the items for a profit. Since that day he has never looked back. Eight years later he has a thriving business in Way Back When that has been featured on channel 10, Deco Drive and in the process of pitching a pilot episode to A&E for a TV show. If anyone knows Joey and follows him on Social Media, it's obvious that his passion for collecting has got to be the reason for all of his accomplishments. Aside from a giver's heart and risk taking attitude, Joey has got to be the nicest guy you'll ever meet. On this episode Joey and Nelson talk about having passion for what you do, taking the leap of faith to start a business, leaving the corporate life, win win exchanges in business, the seasons of life, giving back and the legacy Joey wants to leave behind.
