Finding Inspiration at Home After a Decade of Travel: with Natalie Small

Published 3 years, 2 months ago
Description

What does home mean to you? For Groundswell Community Project creator and SWA instructor Natalie Small, home has a bit of an unconventional definition. Home has almost always either been on a sailboat or wherever her next plane ticket took her.  But for the first time in over 10 years, she has settled into a “land home” in San Diego, where she is learning to reclaim her sense of home and self. Holly and Natalie chat about the nomad lifestyle, the ups and downs of long-term travel and the challenges in cultivating purpose and self-awareness. Natalie talks about finding balance and vibrant connection in her everyday routine and offers listeners some advice about how using an intentional surf practice can help us reconnect to our bodies and quiet our minds.

Surf With Amigas runs surf coaching and yoga retreats for women in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Morocco, and Indonesia — http://surfwithamigas.com
