Supernatural Season 4, Episode 6, Yellow Fever recap 🐈 Dean catches ghost sickness and becomes afraid of EVERYTHING (Yorkies, cats, driving over 20 mph), and Jensen Ackles gives us the legendary Eye of the Tiger lip sync on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast.

The episode opens with Dean running for his life... from a tiny Yorkie in a pink bow. Rewind 43 hours: the boys are investigating a 44-year-old marathon runner who died of a heart attack, and two others with him. The autopsy delivers our 16th blood splooge of the series (spleen juice, straight to Sam's beautiful face). Soon, anyone who's crossed paths with the ghost is scared to death, literally, and Dean has 48 hours before his fear stops his heart. Enter Bobby, his very old Japanese book, and a sweet, cat-loving man named Luther Garland, whose story is heartbreaking.

• Supposedly, Jared refused to stay on set when the snake crawled over Jensen's shoulder, so they reshot it tight on Jensen alone
• Dean's high-pitched scream when a cat jumps out of a locker
• Dean driving 20 mph and demanding Sam buckle up
• Sam taking care of big brother, and Dean asking for help without asking for help
• The sheriff and that metal scrubber. We had to look away.
• A familiar little girl from the season three finale with some very dark hell math

In the lore segment, we dig into the buruburu, the Japanese yokai of cowardice that sends chills down your spine, and ghost sickness, a grief disorder where unresolved loss can make people feel haunted by the dead.
