HOW CORRUPT IS DAVID WEISS?
Chris Tigani is a Republican businessman in a very deep Blue state. Back in 2007, Tigani says Sen. Biden was running for President and Hunter and Beau approached him for a $100K campaign donation. Biden’s campaign chief told him to have his employees write checks to the campaign and then reimburse them. Tigani did, not knowing it was illegal and a felony. The FBI charged him with making straw donations to the Biden campaign and David Weiss sent him to prison. Only four people have ever been charged with this crime in Delaware. Tigani says Democrats control everything in Delaware. In Weiss’ sentencing memo, he wrote based on media attention and the rarity of campaign finance offenses and nationwide tax violations, a powerful (prison) term would serve as a powerful deterrent to the wealthy and politically connected. Tigani says ten years later, Weiss obviously now thinks the politically connected should be immune from criminal prosecution, letting Hunter go with a misdemeanor for far more serious crimes. Tigani says we now know Weiss is covering for Merrick Garland and may take the fall for it.
