Episode Details

We brought inside several perennial plants last week. It was going to hit 32 degrees and my love for all living things wasn't going to lose these beautiful creations. I got to be extremely close with them during our seven days together. Then my wife said it was time to return them outdoors. They needed rain not running water. They need to feel the cool fall breeze and not the human furnace. My heart sank 500 feet. What kind of a friend am I to think humanizing an outdoor plant is a great idea? There's a reason why the universe provides us with four seasons. I freeze at 54 degrees! If plants could only smile. I take a selfie right now and plant our togetherness on social media.
