Learning stuff is hard. Especially stuff that is completely unfamiliar, not just a new variation or progression of something you already know how to do! Not many people talk about this. We envision ourselves already being at level 10 and forget that there are 9 other levels of blood, sweat, tears, and discomfort that come before the fantasy we have in our minds of what it will look like when we have acquired that desired skill. 
Everyone goes through this.
