Dean Lucas is one of my best mates. And I have learned so much from him.

He grew up in country Victoria and had a tough time during primary school which lead him to try to take his life at 10 years old. From here he changed schools and found MTB riding which gave him purpose and a newfound love for life.

He has been one of the best MTB riders to come out of Australia with multiple podium finishes in world cups. But what I admire most about Dean is his mindset and kindness. It is a story we can all learn from.
