We learn that the 4 kingdoms represented in this chapter have a dual prophetic fulfillment and that the same demonic influence present in these ancient kingdoms can be felt today. We also learn that the Church thrives under persecution because of her incredible hope in the "son of man" and his "everlasting kingdom."
